Dr. Sangiv I. Patel and our experienced dental team are dedicated to restoring your beautiful smile, so you can enjoy all the aesthetic, functional, and social benefits. Based on figures from the American College of Prosthodontists, around 120 million people in the U.S. are missing at least one tooth.

And many are missing multiple teeth, which can not only affect one’s self-confidence but also lead to other daily difficulties and detrimental dental effects. Plus, about a quarter of Americans have dental decay, with millions suffering from cracked or otherwise injured or damaged teeth.

But if you’re among those who have a missing tooth or teeth, or have any other problems like decay or damage, have no worries. At Sangiv I. Patel, D.D.S., PA, we’re thrilled to offer an array of effective solutions, including inlays, onlays, implants, bridges, and veneers. The only work you have to do? Contact us today to schedule an appointment in Melbourne, FL.

How does the CEREC process work?

CEREC same-day restorations are surprisingly straightforward and quick, given their amazing results. First, to find the best solution possible for you, we’ll perform a comprehensive evaluation and discuss your expectations. We then weigh all relevant dental and lifestyle factors in selecting the most effective option for your unique needs.

To check that everything fits seamlessly and comfortably, we utilize optical scans and advanced 3D imaging systems that provide an incredibly detailed map of the mouth. The designs are sent to the CEREC milling chamber to be realized through robotic fabrication.

After fabrication, Dr. Patel assesses it for multiple features, including proper fit, comfort, and the correct bite pattern. If all these aspects are deemed excellent, your restoration travels to a computerized furnace and is then further finished to give it that genuine look.

What are the advantages of CEREC same-day restorations?

Many patients with some form of dental deterioration may be great candidates for a same-day restoration. These various restorative strategies offer an excellent way to correct multiple issues, including chips, cracks, breaks, and signs of decay.

Plus, it’s more straightforward than many may think. Cutting-edge imaging systems allow us to bypass the messy, uncomfortable dental impressions of the past. Furthermore, your restorations are metal-free and made from ceramics that provide multiple advantages, including stain-resistance, durability, and a dazzling brilliance that matches real teeth. People will not be able to tell your restorations are anything other than natural.

Here’s another advantage, there’s an inherently lower risk of infection with same-day restorations. This increased infection control is due to the fact that you’ll be able to see for yourself: your restorations will be crafted quickly and efficiently on-site in our state-of-the-art facility.
